Mon, 19 Feb 2018 09:54:15 +0000 Why are lecturers disregarding health concerns Dear Editor, I believe that Professor Nkandu Luo was right to insist that universities should be opened only when the ministry of Health says so. Considering the number of students that are in these institutions, it is a serious matter whether or not the institutions are opened. Prof Luo has shown concern and this should be respected. Lecturers should stop agitating for opening when they can not guarantee the health of the students. If a disaster was to occur at the universities, it is government and the minister who would be held responsible. So let us give her chance to make sure the institutions are cleaned. We should all be happy that she is fighting for institutions to be clean.
