Mr Chilangwa said the coming of investors followed the Expo the province hosted last year in July. He said of the 50 companies, 17 were in agriculture sector, six in energy, while the other four are interested in infrastructure development among other sectors. Speaking when he addressed journalists in Mansa yesterday, Mr Chilangwa said the Expo had far attracted business investment commitments in excess of US$1 billion. “We have over 50 companies coming to Luapula Province with the interest to invest in various sectors of the economy,” he said. Mr Chilangwa explained that the investments were a long term progression which could not be completed overnight. “As a province we are in the right trajectory, people may not see the benefits right now.
