ZASSA organised a coaching clinic which ends today at Olympic Youth Development Centre and has attracted coaches from all the 10 provinces. ZASSA president Chipangano Tembo told the coaches to endeavour to mould athletes that would win medals for Zambia in the near future. “It is our hope that this knowledge gained will not go to drain but passed on to other coaches and athletes. We have noticed that our coaches in schools needed capacity building. “They are the first to identify talent in a child so they need necessary knowledge to nurture the athlete into a medal winner,” he said.
