Mon, 12 Feb 2018 08:59:53 +0000 By BENNIE MUNDANDO THE Petroleum Transporters Association of Zambia (PTAZ) has clinched another fuel importation deal from Tanzania and Mozambique worth US$5 million with ER Industries International Energy Resources, facilitated by the Ministry of Energy to run up to March 2018. PTAZ secretary general Benson Tembo yesterday said the deal was a show of Government’s commitment towards wealth creation in the subsector which he said will help the local companies grow their capacities. Mr. Tembo said Government had once against demonstrated consistency in helping the subsector actualise its business potential which will not only help in capacity building among local transporters but will also add to employment opportunities for the local people. “We are happy to announce that the Zambian fuel transporters have yet again signed a contract for transportation of imported fuel from Dar-Es- Salaam and Beira to TAZAMA depots in Zambia worth US$5 million to run up […]
