Wed, 07 Feb 2018 09:12:55 +0000 By ANDREW MUKOMA THE Livingstone High Court has reserved a ruling to a later date in the matter in which UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has sued Equity and Economic Party (EEP) leader Chilufya Tayali. Mr Hichilema is seeking a restraint against Mr Tayali from issuing any defamatory statements after he alleged that the UPND leader was a free Masonic. The matter which was held in the chambers was scheduled for an inter-parte hearing before Judge Chilombo Phiri and it proceeded without Mr Tayali’s presence. Mr Tayali was reported still on his way travelling from Lusaka to Livingstone when the matter was heard at 10 hours. In this matter, Mr Tayali is sued for issuing a statement that linked Mr Hichilema to being in the Masonic register the reason why he has been dragged him (Tayali) to court.
