In an interview, Change Mind-set Zambia (CMZ) chairperson, Geoffrey Musonda, said politicians, regardless of their political affiliation, should work together for national development. Mr. Musonda said opposition politicians’ duty was to provide checks and balances to the party in government. He said the opposition must contribute to national economic growth because Zambia was not for the ruling party alone. “There is need for some political players, who always shun participation in development matters that add value to national prosperity, to change their mind-set,” Mr. Musonda said. He said it was important for the opposition to work with the ruling party and share positive ideas for the good of the nation.
