Chavuma District Commissioner Benjamin Mufunga says the Patriotic Front government is determined to ensure that the highest levels of civilisation is attained through provision of quality education. Mr Mufunga said government has made improvements to the education sector because it believes that education is the cornerstone that spurs a nation to greater economic, cultural, legal and social heights. He was speaking during the Chavuma district selection meeting for Grade 8 pupils that was held at the district resource centre. Mr Mufunga noted that the pragmatic and vibrant curriculum that government has put in place through the ministry of General Education is a clear indication of its commitment to ensuring that quality education reaches the remotest districts like Chavuma.
