A local magistrate and a clinical officer from Isoko village in Mpulungu fled the village for fear of being killed by a mob of villagers after a detainee who was due to appear in the murder case of Chief Tafuna, died. The named magistrate and clinical officer fled to Mpulungu town on 17th of this month for fear of being killed by some villagers. Sources told the Daily Nation that some villagers planned to vandalise Isoko health post where the deceased was taken awaiting burial.
