COSAFA general secretary Sue Destombes urged the young footballers to learn to use their financial resources wisely. She was speaking during a Mopani Copper Mines COSAFA financial literacy workshop held at Moba Hotel in Kitwe. Destombes noted that COSAFA was proud to contribute to the development of soccer in Africa. She commended corporate entities such as Mopani for collaborating to host the COSAFA Under-20 championship which is critical to the development of young African footballers. FAZ vice president Rix Mweemba emphasised the need for footballers to be responsible and accountable for their financial resources.
