The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, owned by South Africa’s Democratic Alliance (DA) leader, Mr Maimane has nominated Mr Hichilema to be the guest of honour and recipient of this year’s African Freedom award ceremony in South Africa. But Mr Tonga said that the whole move was meant to hoodwink the public as it was clear that Mr Hichilema did not deserve any peace award.
