Christopher Mukafwempa told the Daily Nation yesterday that Ms. Mukumbuta’s allegation attracted an angry mob that descended on him soon after he knocked off from work. He said the incident happened on Friday around 18:00 hours in Lusaka’s Mtendere compound. He said Ms. Mukumbuta was with some plain clothed police officers in her car and trailed the Pilatus Engineering staff bus up to Mtendere market where he disembarked. “As I was coming out of the bus she shouted ‘thief, ‘thief’ and called on people to apprehend me.
