According to the warrant of commitment to undergo sentence of imprisonment signed by Kabwe Magistrate Fidelis Ngosa and addressed to the officer-in-charge at Mukobeko, Ruth Mwape must be lodged in the said prison. Mwape of house number 41, Nakoli compound, Kabwe, pleaded guilty to one count of theft, contrary to section 272 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence were that on August 25, 2017 Mwape stole four by 400 mls of men’s lotion, 12 by 200 mls of Johnson’s lotion and one tablet of bathing soap, all valued at K892.29, from Shoprite outlet at the newly opened Kabwe Mall.
