The traditional ruler said Zambians should not entertain or usher into any public office politicians who love insults because they will not be good role models for the younger generation. He said the degeneration of morals could be avoided by rejecting leaders that are known to be fond of insults. This behaviour, he said, was at variance with the status of Zambia as a Christian nation. Chief Chikwanda said that leadership should not be acquired forcibly and that people should endeavour to compete amicably. “Some leaders, you even wonder whether they are in a Christian nation or not.
