Fri, 25 Aug 2017 14:11:41 +0000 By Oscar Malipenga MOVEMENT for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) will tomorrow hold a provincial conference in Luapula to elect new provincial executive members to resolve some problems in the province, national secretary Raphael Nakacinda has announced. Mr Nakacinda said the decision to hold a provincial conference was resolved by the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting last Saturday. “Following the resolution of NEC meeting which was held on Saturday, 19th August, 2017, I write to inform you that, there will be a one-day provincial conference to resolve problems at provincial executive committee of Luapula Province to be addressed by MMD chairman for elections committee Guston Sichilima on Saturday 26th August 2017 at 10:00 hours in Mansa,” Mr Nakacinda said in a notice issued to all provincial officials. He said the delegates will be the current provincial executive committee members and ten officials from each district.
