Titled the ‘Great Work’, the album features music that was recorded in Europe and Africa. It is a 12-track collection that was unveiled for the first time in Lusaka’s Show grounds opposite the Henry Tayali Gallery yesterday. “‘Great Work’ is when you know yourself. Nowadays it’s difficult to find time for oneself. If you know yourself, you have done the great work,” says Mumba in explaining the title of his album which features songs like ‘Baluwe,’ ‘In’gomba’, ‘Feeling’ and ‘Mutinta’. Others are ‘Akebu Lan’, ‘Seven’, ‘ Umolomo’, ‘Kwela Palulu’, ‘Ulwendo’, ‘Squeeze my Lemon’ and ‘Muchalo’ feat. Chef 187.
