Senior Financial Management Specialist, Srinivas Gurazada, said the World Bank was committed to working with Government to maintain financial health of Zambia. He said this would be done through strengthening of the accounting profession. Mr Gurazada was speaking at the launch of Chartered Accountant (CA) Zambia Professional qualification by the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) held at Lusaka’s Radisson Blu Hotel. “It is time to proudly look back at what Zambia’s accounting profession achieved in the past one decade,” he said. Accountants shoulder the responsibility of ensuring that financial, economic and ethical systems in the country remain sound,” he said.
