Chief Luchembe of the Bemba-speaking people of Mpika said that the ceremony was even far much better without the attendance of bitter politicians. And UPND vice president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba questioned how important Ukusefya pa Ng’wena traditional ceremony of the Bemba was, when asked whether he would attend. “Do you come from the royal family for you to ask me? Anyway, what is so special about Ukusefya pa Ng’wena?” he questioned. Chief Luchembe wondered how someone could get aggrieved with things to do with tradition, adding that it did not make sense.
