Mr Kaunda said it was unfortunate that Chunga market was under construction for about 20 years and that there was need to quickly complete the project so that traders could start conducting business in an ideal and conducive environment. He said the first phase of the construction has seen the putting up of concrete base were the merchandise would be placed had been completed. In an interview over the weekend, Mr Kaunda said the construction of the first phase of Chunga market was facilitated through the ward development fund but that the money was not sufficient to complete the trading facility.
