Sat, 01 Jul 2017 12:12:42 +0000 WATER and Environmental Protection permanent secretary Bishop Edward Chomba has advised parents in Kalumbila district to stop young girls from dancing with older men on the pretext of cultural entertainment during public functions. Bishop Chomba advised that young girls in the area should be encouraged to concentrate on school as opposed to dancing in public with older men. The PS said this in Kalumbila district yesterday after an older man took to the stage to dance with a young girl in front of guests amid cheers from parents. This episode, however, did not please the permanent secretary. He told parents to ensure their girl children desist from engaging in acts such as dancing with older men that deter them from concentrating on their education. Bishop Chomba urged older men to be dancing with older women and not use young girls to entertain people. – ZANIS
