Speaking during a press briefing on the minister’s participation in this Saturday’s Intercompany relay, Mutati said there was need to support the event as it will help the Zambia Amateur Athletics Association ZAAA raise funds for athletes who have qualified for various international championships. “Let me acknowledge the acceptance by the first lady to supporting this Saturday’s event as the guest of honor. We are there to support her in this noble cause, “Our role is simply to support ZAAA in raising funds for the various athletes who have qualified for international championships including the London world championships,” Mutati said.
