Maurice Mwango Chaiwila has since been charged with one count of theft by agent, contrary to Section 280 (b) (c) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Chaiwila, 48, of house number 441a/125/A Mungwerere road in Lusaka, was scheduled to take plea on Wednesday before Magistrate Greenwell Malumani but was not before court and the case was adjourned to today. According to the indictment, it is alleged that between September 1, 2016 and March 10, 2017, Chaiwila stole K172, 916.00 cash which was entrusted to him by Ms Munta Mwenya Machisa.
