Sat, 10 Jun 2017 09:38:47 +0000 BY CHITE MTONGA A SOUTH African national has been arrested at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka for trafficking in cocaine weighing more than 1 kilogram. According to Drug Enforcement Commission public relations officer, Theresa Katongo, Zenele Marvis, 42, a house maid of Port Elizabeth, was arrested for trafficking in cocaine weighing 1.28 kg. She said Ms. Zenele was nabbed at KKIA upon arrival from Ethiopia. Mrs. Katongo said that the commission in Lusaka had also arrested a herbalist of Chipata district in the Eastern Province for trafficking in loose cannabis. Patrick Bwalya, 27, a herbalist of Kalongwezi area in Chipata was arrested for trafficking in loose cannabis weighing 30.6 kg. She said the suspect was intercepted at Chinyunyu check point in Chongwe district. Both suspects will appear in court soon.
