By ROGERS KALEROZAMBIANS should not stigmatise Chinese over the COVID-19, but ensure strict adherence to prevent measures, the Chinese community on the Copperbelt has said. The Chinese community has also advised Zambians against travelling to European countries, Australia and the United States of America. Wang Xin, the Zambia Chinese Association (ZCA) Copperbelt Chapter president, said the common enemy was the Covid-19 and so people should strive to find the solution to the problem instead of pointing accusing fingers on each other. Mr Wang said this in Kitwe in reaction to social media reports that a Chinese national was found with coronavirus in Mwaiseni area of Chingola. He said the social media reports were lies and a fabrication from some people who wanted to dent the image of the Chinese community in Zambia.
