Pastor Chanda said men of God should be principled representatives of biblical values. He wondered why the arrest of an opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema had become an issue to some sections when they knew he was required to face the law to prove his innocence over charges levelled against him. It was the duty of the church, he said, to pray for people to change their behaviour and not just condemning them. He said respect for authority was cardinal and that those in conflict with the law had themselves to blame.
