Wed, 17 May 2017 10:46:31 +0000 By SIMON MUNTEMBA THE acquittal of UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema in the case where he was accused of insulting police officers is an indication that Zambia’s Judiciary is independent from any form of interference from Government, says National Revolution Party (NRP) president Cozmo Mumba. Dr Mumba said the ruling that favoured the opposition leader was evidence enough that the Government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu does not interfere in the decisions of the Judiciary.
