Speaking to the Daily Nation in an interview yesterday, Mr Banda said the CBD was full of different business people coming from all corners of Lusaka which has congested the city centre. He said Lusaka was a clean town and should be maintained like that by removing some of the business people, especially street vendors. “Creation of markets in all communities would help decongest the CBD and bring sanity to Lusaka as a capital city of Zambia,’’ he said. He said urged members of the public to note that business could be done even in their vicinity and could help reduce on transport costs spent to and from the town centre. […]
