Tue, 16 May 2017 10:44:49 +0000 By ANNIE ZULU UPGRADING of rural roads in Southern Province proves President Edgar Lungu and the PF government’s commitment of taking development to every part of Zambia, says Patriotic Front Southern Province vice information and publicity secretary Trymore Mwenda. Mr Mwenda said this following the approval of a $ 200 million World Bank International Development Association (IDA) credit for Zambia which would see most rural roads in the Province worked on and upgraded. Southern Province is among six other provinces to benefit from the funds to improve rural roads to ensure ease access to schools, health and market facilities for farmers in transporting their produce hence contributing to increased productivity in rural areas.
