In an interview with the Daily Nation, the residents said there was urgent need to put up another police post in the community because criminals have taken advantage of the situation. Amos Chisanga of Kanyama West said the residents were living in fear because security was compromised and people were being attacked and robbed any time. Mr Chanda said thieves were raiding homes in broad day light and residents could do nothing because the Los Angeles and Kanyama police stations were far apart. “We are living in fear due to the criminals who are terrorizing our homes.
