Tue, 02 May 2017 09:31:29 +0000 By AARON CHIYANZO KEEPERS Zambia Foundation will implement a US$ 68,000 waste management project in Ng’ombe and Chipata compounds of Lusaka which will have over 100, 000 beneficiaries, Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) communications and outreach manager John Kunda has said. Dr. Kunda said that MCA had given nine grantees a grant amounting to US$ 3 million for pro-poor service delivery in Lusaka. He said that the innovation grant program was one of the institutional support activities of Lusaka Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage Project (LWSSDP). Dr. Kunda pointed out that MCA had given Keepers Zambia Foundation over US$ 60, 000 for a sustainable solid waste management project in Lusaka’s Chipata and Ng’ombe compounds.
