By TERENCE MISELOMUSICIAN and one of the pioneers of current Zambian music Keith Mutale has died. Mutale, who died on Thursday in Lusaka after an illness is easily remembered for his huge contribution to Zambian music under the Muvi Posse Band created by Muvi TV in the 90s. Mutale who is musically called Mukulumpe, was instrumental in setting the agenda for modern Zambian music. He was amongst the earliest Zambian rappers inspired by the likes of Tupac and B.I.G. At the time Zambian music was entering the computer age, Keith alongside his peers James Chamanyazi, Che Mutale Saga, Maiko Zulu and others were already on top of the game.
