In a statement issued to the media yesterday, Malunga said the fight will take place on 29th July in Ndola. Malunga added that his promotion is also working on setting up a fight for former World Boxing Council (WBC) welterweight silver champion Charles Manyuchi. He noted that Manyuchi’s opponent will be announced when contractual agreements are finalized. “The former World Boxing Council (WBC) bantamweight champion Catherine Phiri will fight Matshidiso Mokebisi from South Africa.
