It is alleged that on March 9, Huang Shengdan, 40, of unknown address in Lusaka, failed to observe conditions specified in his employment permit as maintainer working for the Ministry of Defence and instead he was found working as a bonanza gaming machine dealer on Lumumba Road without any lawful authority. Huang was yesterday scheduled to appear before Chief Resident Magistrate Kenneth Mulife for allocation of his case but Immigration officers did not bring him from the remand prison where he is detained. Meanwhile, a Nigerian national has been remanded in custody for concealing his true identity contrary to section 52 (2) as read with section 56 (1) of the Immigration and Deportation Act number 18 of 2010 of the Laws of Zambia.
