Mr. Matatiyo confirmed the development to the Daily Nation yesterday but said he was yet to receive the dismissal letter from the appointing authority. He said he would wait for official communication on his dismissal because he had just heard that he had been fired, saying without a letter confirming his fate, he was not in a position to give details of the development. “Yes. I have been fired. I have not been served with a letter of my dismissal but I have just been told so.
