What is causing these women to be caught up in such horrific crimes? In most African societies, the woman is considered to be the care giver, the glue of the family and most of all, the Mother. To be a mother encompasses many things that are collectively believed to be the epitome of goodness, kindness, love and compassion. The statistics show lower rates of women committing crimes as compared to their male counterparts.
