Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions (OQBP) manager Chris Malunga said Catherine will receive the award during the 54th WBC convention which will run from 11-17 December in Florida. “WBC will honour WBC Gold bantamweight champion Catherine Phiri with a special honour and award during the 54th convention in Florida. The convention will start on 11th of December 2016 and end 17th December 2016 at the Diplomat Beach Resort, Florida,” Malunga said.
