Thu, 13 Dec 2012 09:59:30 +0000 OPPOSITION political parties in Zambia have condemned President Michael Sata’s desire to continue abusing the Public Order Act by sending opposition political leaders to prison. Addressing the press yesterday, UPND president Hakainde Hichilema said that President Sata and the PF government had no respect for the rule of law. He said that under Mr. Sata’s leadership the country had quickly degenerated away from the principles of democracy and good governance, adding that what the PF had successfully scored was taking opposing views to jail.
