The Sugar Boys will next season play in the FAZ division One South after they were eliminated by Confederations cup bound envoys Zesco United who thrashed them 4-0 and 1-0 home and away respectively last week. The team ended the season with a paltry 34 points out of 35 matches played, almost averaging a point in each of the games in this campaign and were joined by Mufulira Blackpool, Lusaka Tigers, and Lusaka Dynamos who also failed to swing out of relegation waters with Mufulira Blackpool coming out as tail-enders with only 12 points out of a possible 102.
