Dear Editor, THAT our economy is forever overheating, is an understatement because the truth is that it has already died and become trickier to forecast its outlook This is not to talk about the Kwacha that has continued to lose its battle against the dollar and rightly so because to have a strong currency you need a vibrant export market which we currently do not have. Even our darling Monetary Policy Rate trick has failed to perform to expectations. My advice to our Bank of Zambia governor, Dr Denny Kalyalya is to forget this MPR deal because it will never work. With our current electricity crisis, it is much easier to see our collapsed industrial performance with a telling effect on our economy.
