Hemophilia is a rare genetic bleeding disorder in which the blood doesn’t clot properly due to a deficiency or dysfunction of certain clotting factors. This can lead to excessive bleeding, both externally and internally, even from minor injuries. Its symptoms include: prolonged bleeding from cuts or injuries, frequent nosebleeds, easy bruising, joint and muscle bleeding (causing swelling and pain) and blood in urine or stool.
