By GRACE CHAILE LUSAKA businessman Sedrick Kasanda has lost his bid to stop the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) from seizing his luxurious Ibex Hill residential house. The Economic and Financial Crimes Court (EFCC) dismissed Kasanda’s application for a stay of execution of judgment, paving the way for the DEC to take control of the property. Kasanda had appealed to the Court of Appeal and filed an application with the EFCC to stay the execution of the judgment dated January 20, 2025 in which the Court ruled that the seizure of his property was lawful and in accordance with the law.
