By NATION REPORTER THE judiciary should consider getting into introspect over the preliminary report by Irene Khan, the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Special Rapporteur, in which she has strongly condemned the weaponisation of the justice system against opposition political leaders. In her preliminary report, the UNHRC Special Rapporteur has called for a strong and independent judiciary, which said was critical for the protection and promotion of human rights, including the freedom and opinion as well as expression.
