By NATION REPORTER THE 2024 World Risk Report on Zambia has indicated that there was a decline in the 2024 public allocation to water, sanitation and hygiene in the national budget, a matter of concern. The 2023 national budget had provided an allocation of K2.3 billion or 1.4 percent of the budget for 2023 to the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation. But in the 2024 national budget, the allocation dropped to K2.1 billion.
