By NATION REPORTER CHIFUMU Banda SC says the UPND would be the easiest governing party to defeat in the 2026 general election because of the monumental mistakes they have made and their failure to deliver their promises but has cautioned the Tonse Alliance to never at any point to under estimate the party in power. And former President Edgar Lungu has said the year 2025 is “umwaka umbi” (a different year) and has called on the Tonse Alliance to intensify the fight against schemes by the UPND and President Hakainde Hichilema to kill democracy.
