By GRACE CHAILE THE State has agreed to compensate the family of 17-year-old Timothy Zulu, who was fatally shot by a police officer in 2020. This decision was made in a consent judgement passed by Lusaka High Court Judge Situmbeko Chocho. Timothy’s father, John Zulu, had sued the Attorney General in July 2023, alleging that the State failed to provide support during his son’s funeral and neglected to respond to his complaints about the police’s conduct.
