By NATION REPORTER ABOUT 3, 500 foreign-owned fuel tankers engaged by Zambian Oil Marketing Companies, destined for Zambia to transport petrol have pulled out of the Mozambique route resulting in the country being plunged into serious fuels shortages crisis, it has been disclosed. And government has announced that it is considering to convert TAZAMA (Tanzania-Zambia Mafuta) Pipeline into a multi-purpose carriage through which petrol, diesel, co-mingled and all manner of petroleum products would be transported.
