By NATION REPORTER THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has been accused of planning to cancel the Petauke Central by-election to allegedly give the UPND time to reoganise itself and possibly change the candidate because the ruling party has realized that it is impossible for them to win the seat. But Brown Kasaro, the ECZ Chief Electoral Officer has denied the accusations of cancelling the Petauke Central by-election, stating that the timetable for the election has not changed and that the election would proceed as scheduled.
