By GRACE CHAILE THE Constitutional Court has rejected an application by governance activist Isaac Mwanza to stop the Electoral Commission of Zambia from proceeding with the Petauke Central by-election, scheduled for February 6, 2025. Constitutional Court Judge Mathew Chisunka has determined that the Mwanza’s petition to stop the Petauke by-election had no basis and lacked merit as it was not going to serve public interest.
