By NATION REPORTER THE Petroleum Transporters Association of Zambia (PTAZ) has accused Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) of sideling them in preference to foreigners and are thus happy that the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has put a stop to it. Benson Tembo, secretary general for the Petroleum Transporters Association of Zambia said local transporters were forced to go to the Democratic Republic of Congo market because OMCs were giving business to foreign-owned trucks which consequently resulted in the shortage of petroleum products in the country.
