By Hope Musonda Minister of local Government Garry NKombo says anyone trading on top of a drainage should find an alternative trading area as to prevent another cholera outbreak in Zambia. He says areas such as Kalunga Steel Trading space on Lumumba Road ,Munyaule Market and any other area that houses a drainage system in Lusaka is not a designated place to trade. He says the Lusaka City Council is having difficulties to execute it’s duties of cleaning and deepening the drainage systems to ensure a smooth flow of rain water and Garbage. He said the re-opening of Simon Mwewa Market which is next to City Market will provide 952 traders each with a trading space.
