By ROGERS KALERO THE Mine workers Union of Zambia (MUZ) is deeply concerned with the continued high cost of living, exacerbated by load shedding and fuel price hikes, which has eroded the buying power of miners and reduced their standard of living. Joseph Chewe, the MUZ president says despite the sector’s contribution to the country’s economy, miners have continued to face numerous difficulties that have negatively impacted their livelihoods.
